Bringing Nature Home Presentation by Doug Tallamy

August 20 @ 7:00 pm

Please come for dessert and the Phyllis Mills Wyeth Memorial Talk featuring the dynamic bestselling author Doug Tallamy.

Why are native plants critical? They’re the key to restoring the destroyed natural habitats of the plants and animals which literally support the life we depend on. With local extinction rampant and nearly 85% of land privately owned, each of us can contribute to long-term conservation by planting what is native to our area. A native plant for a pot or for gardens or meadows will make a difference.

Wild Seed Project will have a display and be available for questions.  The honored guest for the evening is Jamie Wyeth.

Doug Tallamy is the author of Bringing Nature Home, The Living Landscape, and Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Landscaping that S arts in Your Yard (February 2020). Book sales by hello hello books, Rockland’s independent bookstore.

As of August 7th, this event is now full.
