July 23 @ 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Photograph of Russ Cohen in a field talking to a group of people

Join Russ Cohen, wild edibles expert and author of Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten, at Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, Maine, to learn how to forage for dozens of edible wild plants.

Russ will teach you how to identify edible species, which portions of each plant are edible, in which seasons they’re best eaten, methods for preparing them, and guidelines for safe and ecologically-responsible foraging.

Learn a lot more about this walk, and register with Maine Audubon.
