Cultivating Community Through Seed Saving

Can saving seeds be about more than just the seeds?

In this program, Seed Stewardship Director Emily Baisden explores how saving seed is an opportunity to build community in the natural world and between people. We'll first consider the importance of saving seeds for plant diversity and resilience, and then the methods for seed saving in the garden and in the wild. And finally, we'll reflect on our experience of engaging the community to implement a seed saving program.

This virtual program is hosted by the Hardy Plant Society, Mid-Atlantic. Sign up on their website to attend. Registration is free for Hardy Plant Society members, and $15 for non-members. We look forward to seeing you there!
