In Person: Seed Sowing at Wolfe’s Neck

  • Wolfe's Neck Farm 184 Burnett Road Freeport, ME, 04032 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on workshop detailing the why and how of autumn seed sowing.  In this workshop, Wild Seed Project staff will facilitate the first steps of growing native Maine plants from seed and establishing diverse landscapes using seed-grown plants.  Seeds will be provided, along with sowing materials.  Each participant will sow two pots of seeds: one to take home, and one to leave at the growing community seed garden at Wolfe’s Neck.

For anyone especially excited about their new seed sowing skills, participants are also welcome to stay after the initial workshop to help sow many more pots for the community seed garden.

Register at the Wolfe’s Neck website.
