Join us for our last winter* seed sowing workshop of the year!
Come on over to Goodfire Tasting Room & Kitchen in Freeport for a hands-on, kid-friendly exploration of growing native plants from seed. We’ll get to know the plants that support our beloved monarchs (hint: it's more than just milkweed!). And we'll sow seeds! All participants will leave with a pot of seeds for home.
This workshop is great for kids and adults alike. The first hour will be hands-on activities and seed sowing; the second hour is for those who would like to stick around for further discussion of native plants and how to care for them.
And of course, all are welcome to stay after for tasty food and drink at Goodfire!
*We may also add one workshop in March for seeds that don’t need winter cold - stay tuned!
