Yes, now is the time to sow native seeds!
Join us at Maine Beer Co. for a hands-on workshop detailing the why and how of winter seed sowing. In this workshop, Wild Seed Project staff will facilitate the first steps of growing native Maine plants from seed and establishing diverse landscapes using seed-grown plants. Seeds will be provided, along with sowing materials. Participants will get to practice winter seed sowing themselves, and take home a pot of sown seeds. Get ready to learn the best practices for keeping your seeds outside for the winter at a great community location!
This is a stand alone event, but happening the same night as Community Pizza Night at Maine Beer Co. Come for the workshop, come for the pizza, or come for both! It’s always a treat to connect with the Wild Seed Project community in person.
