Our latest guide, Gardening for Biodiversity: Native Plants for the Northeast, celebrates the dazzling diversity of adaptations found across native plant species. It’s a step-by-step guide to creating a garden full of life.
On May 1, join lead author, and Wild Seed Project Manager of Applied Ecology, Tyler Refsland, and contributing author Emily Baisden, Seed Center Director, for a Q & A session on how to think about the dimensions of diversity in your own growing space. We’ll share some key insights from the guide to frame our discussion, and then open up the floor to answer your questions. Have a question about applying biodiversity principles in your own yard—including how to start and maintain a biodiverse garden that supports pollinators, caterpillars, and other wildlife? Bring your questions, or email us ahead of time at info@wildseedproject.net.
We're excited to share the guide with you, and can't wait to dig into conversation together!
Note: The 2025 guide will be mailed directly to current Wild Seed Project members in mid-April as part of your member benefits, and released to the public early May. Not yet a member? Join us! Enroll by March 16 for the advance copy; for sign ups after that date, guides will be shipped within 8 to 10 business days.
Please RSVP so we can hold you a (virtual) seat! This event will be hosted on Zoom. Your registration will get you access to the Zoom link, which will be sent out the day of the event. We will also send the recording to registrants after the webinar.
