Spring Planting Workshop

  • PPL - Burbank Branch 377 Stevens Avenue Portland, ME, 04103 United States (map)

The Burbank Branch and Wild Seed Project (WSP) are teaming up to offer a hands-on planting workshop. You'll learn how to convert a lawn into garden beds and all about native plant species. In the process, you'll help grow a pollinator-friendly, Community Seed Garden at Burbank Branch and leave with the knowledge to start your own native planting. Registration is required.

Notes on access: Please note that this event will take place outdoors. We encourage you to bring sunscreen, water, and weather-appropriate clothing. Rain dates will be determined and communicated by library staff, to registrants, if needed.  Service dogs are welcome, but for the safety and comfort of all guests, the library does not allow pets at outdoor events. The Burbank Branch Library is on the 9A/9B METRO bus line.
